Sri Lankan Ayurvedic Cooking Class in Fairfield!

Our Sri Lankan Cooking workshops have been a popular event over the years and we are excited to announce our first one at our new location in FAIRFIELD!
Join us for a Friday evening of food, chats and fun as we explore some of the basics of a Sri Lankan and an Ayurvedic diet, discuss key kitchen ingredients, spices, herbs and cooking methods and then learn to make a few dishes perfect for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
As this is a special first time event in Fairfield, we’ll also do a traditional blessing ceremony and a healing ritual for each of us in the group along with the cooking of the meals, to nourish our body and spirit in preparation for winter.

Sri Lankan Ayurvedic Cooking Class
Fri 20th October 2023, 5.30 - 8pm
An Ayurvedic diet is designed to bring balance to the body and mind. It centers on balancing the 6 tastes found in different food groups.
Join us for a Friday evening of food, chats and fun as we explore some of the basics of an Ayurvedic diet, discuss key kitchen ingredients, spices, herbs and cooking methods and then learn to make a few Sri Lankan Ayurvedic dishes perfect for lunch or dinner.
A wonderful way to end the week and connect with others - bring friends for a fun evening out and enjoy a meal and chai with plenty of conversation and yummy food!
Spring Wellness Workshop 2023
Utilising the energy of Spring, it is the perfect season for a gentle cleanse that will support health of the body and wellness of the mind.
This workshop includes:
A yoga & meditation class
Choice hatha yoga kriyas - cleansing techniques
A short talk on ayurveda and seasonal wellness with a focus on Spring
A cooking demonstration of the the perfect ayurvedic and yogic cleansing dish that is satisfying, nutritious and yum. Then we'll eat it :) Our products are sourced from Ananda Wholefoods

Our long awaited Wednesday Evening Group Meditation Classes are back!
These classes are designed to help you benefit from the energy of the group while finding stillness in mind & body, releasing the tension and feelings of ‘stuck and tight’ that we sometimes can’t shake or explain, and to help you end your day with a sense of gratitude for little moments, peace and clarity.
We aim for an easy general practice - beneficial for beginners not knowing how to start all the way to advanced meditators, focusing on a time for stillness and going within.

A self-care day dedicated to healing, resting, rejuvenating.
Join us as we take a half day out to heal…. starting off with a stretchy, rejuvenating yoga practice followed by pranayama and meditation, time to reflect and journal, learn about ayurvedic seasonal wellness with a short talk, receive ayurvedic massage, have a delicious long lunch, get lots of deep rest with yoga nidra, listen to soothing mantra and sound bowl healing and more.
