A journey of creation, reflection and release.
In many spiritual traditions, mandalas are more than art. They are sacred symbols of wholeness, cycles and transformation. Rooted in ancient wisdom, the mandala teaches us to honour life’s rhythm through creation, sustaining and release.
This experience draws inspiration from the Trimurti in Hindu philosophy: Brahma as creator, Vishnu as sustainer and Shiva as transformer, reminding us that life continually moves through phases of beginning, flourishing and renewal. We will also reflect on the teachings of Patanjali and the practice of Vairagya (non-attachment), inviting peace, clarity and freedom through letting go.
During our recent retreat, the mandala practice deeply moved many participants. The act of creation and release serves as a powerful reminder that beauty and meaning lie not only in what we hold on to, but also in what we release with awareness and intention.
This two-hour experience includes:
Guided meditation and intention setting
The creation of your own personal mandala as a meditative and expressive practice
Aquiet break with tea and light refreshments
A gentle symbolic release to welcome new beginnings
